About the role
- Global Indirect Sourcing Manager driving value creation across Scientific Affairs through strategic procurement. Managing category spend and developing category strategies within a collaborative team environment
Responsibilities
- Review and manage category spend and identify opportunities for cost improvements
- Benchmark best practices and industry trends with internal and external business partners
- Develop and implement the Category Strategies utilizing key internal and external partnerships
- Lead the engagement with required internal stakeholders to drive main initiatives
- Represent Procurement in multifunctional initiatives
- Responsible for the end-to-end Category Management process
- Partner with the Procurement Legal Team to manage contract redlines
- Monitor performance and delivery of contracted services within your categories
- Spend analysis and budget management
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Sourcing Category Management role
- Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred
- Proven ability to manage high spend, high complexity Global RFx processes
- Understanding of CSR and Sustainability Goals
- Fluent English speaker
- Knowledge on best practices and main Industry trends
- MS Office skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
- SAP/Ariba knowledge and navigation skills would be advantageous
