About the role

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze new feature requirements and design specifications
- Collaborate closely with the development team to define testing strategies for various components
- Develop and execute comprehensive functional test plans and test cases
- Create test coverage reports and other quality-related documentation
- Perform project and defect tracking using standard tools and processes
- Drive and enforce QA best practices and continuous process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a software Quality Assurance role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience using issue/project tracking tools such as JIRA
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Experience with test case management systems (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
- Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Ability to support, maintain and execute automated functional tests
- Basic programming skills with one of the following: C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with AI tooling to aid in test case generation and developing automated tests (OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
- SQL skills (e.g., PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright)
