About the role
- Engineering Manager leading a diverse SRE team at Payplug in Paris. Responsible for guiding infrastructure strategies and team development with a focus on cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Coach your Infrastructure and SRE engineering squad, supporting the development of both technical and soft skills.
- Develop career development plans and monitor performance, in collaboration with other Tech managers.
- Attract and retain top SRE/Infrastructure talent by working closely with the HR team.
- Oversee the SRE team’s roadmap and delivery, ensuring commitments are met.
- Foster your team’s ownership of product and feature Service Quality (QoS).
- Be accountable for technical decisions and the design of robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Significant experience managing technical teams (SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure)
- Strong knowledge of cloud environments (GCP preferred)
- Solid understanding of SRE topics (reliability, scalability, monitoring, SLO/SLA)
- Experience managing technical roadmaps and leading large-scale projects (e.g., cloud migration)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, ability to prioritize and make strategic decisions.
