About the role
- Electro designer part of the development team for automated and autonomous vehicles. Developing electric and mechatronic systems in a modern high-tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Development of electrical and mechatronic systems
- Design and development of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) through to series-production readiness
- Support of AMRs throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Planning of electrical assemblies and components for AMRs, including sensors, control systems, and safety technology
- Support in preparing validation and test documentation for CE certification in accordance with the Machinery Directive
- Creation of wiring diagrams and bills of materials for manufacturing and assembly
Requirements
- Completed technical training or degree in a relevant field
- Experience in electrical design of mechatronic products, ideally in automation or vehicle engineering
- Good knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical or EPLAN
- Experience working with PDM/PLM systems
- Good written and spoken English
