About the role

Responsibilities
- Champion electrical safety practices and programs.
- Participate in safety audits and hazard identification.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, OSHA and company standards.
- Lead electrical maintenance as program coordinator.
- Design, modify, and maintain electrical distribution systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.
- Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Lead and support capital and improvement projects.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to accomplish tasks/goals as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
- PLC/controls experience preferred
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. (24V through 13.2KV)
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical documentation.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols e.g. Ethernet/IP, IO-Link, Modbus, Profibus.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration.
- Proficient with engineering software and Microsoft Office.
