Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing India-based infrastructure team.
- Ensure reliability, performance, and security of cloud and on-prem environments.
- Drive automation using IaC and scripting to improve operations.
- Oversee server, network, and storage maintenance, including scheduled maintenance windows.
- Lead and mature incident response, RCA processes, and best practices.
- Implement and maintain an enterprise CMDB.
- Research, evaluate, and run PoCs for tools across observability, operations, and infrastructure.
- Manage vulnerability remediation and partner with Security for compliance.
- Support DR, backups, and business continuity initiatives.
- Collaborate with global Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to deliver operational excellence.
- Lead cloud and infra integration during M&A activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years in cloud/infrastructure roles with 3+ years leading technical teams, ideally in India.
- Strong experience with cloud + on‑prem environments, including servers, networking, storage, and maintenance/change windows.
- Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes, Linux containers, and Windows/Windows containers.
- Advanced scripting in PowerShell and Python (automation-focused).
- Strong background in IaC (Terraform) for both new and existing infrastructure.
- Experience managing/optimizing multiple Active Directory forests.
- Solid understanding of incident management, observability, CI/CD, and resilience engineering.
- Ability to perform market research, run PoCs, and help select tools (e.g., Observability).
- Knowledge of security best practices and a security-first mindset.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Uptime.com.
- Exposure to M&A cloud/infrastructure integration.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for a global work environment.
