About the role

• Engineering Manager leading a team building client-side components for Adobe's platforms. Driving high performance through technical leadership and effective project management in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own project commitments and deliverables incorporating the full software development lifecycle: requirements definition, design, prioritization, implementation, build CICD, testing, deployment, and operational support.
• Drive the project scrum team: standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Support engineers in building deep technical expertise while developing leadership, ownership, and cross team influence.
• Coordinate dependencies and releases across multiple teams.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high trust team culture that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a technical leadership or people management role.
• Solid grounding in software fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and system design.
• Experience driving operational excellence in supporting released software, including reliability, performance, and cost awareness.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and planning tools (e.g., Jira).
