About the role
- Platform Engineer developing cloud-native systems for intelligent transport infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing secure systems and developing scalable cloud backends.
Responsibilities
- Development and continuous improvement of scalable cloud backends for V2X and C-ITS applications
- Design, evaluation and continuous enhancement of system and software architectures for safety-critical use cases
- Build, operate and evolve cloud-native production environments
- Implementation and operation of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps processes
- Ensure security-by-design, stability, monitoring and performance
- Independently take ownership of features and projects
- Close collaboration within the team and clear communication of technical concepts
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a Platform or Cloud Engineer
- Strong knowledge of cloud backends, in particular: Kubernetes (deployment & operations)
- Experience with cloud-native technologies (e.g., Istio, Knative, NATS)
- CI/CD experience (e.g., GitHub Actions, FluxCD)
- Containerization and Linux/Debian system administration
- Strong skills in TypeScript, Python and SQL
- Independent, structured and quality-focused working style
