About the role
- Sr. Buyer managing procurement strategies for Paramount's Global Procurement Operations Center. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance in purchase requests.
Responsibilities
- Execute and manage indirect procurement strategies across assigned categories.
- Review and approve purchase requests in Ariba and Oracle, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Execute procurement strategies and support competitive bidding to achieve cost savings.
- Collaborate with Category Managers and stakeholders to meet business objectives.
- Determine appropriate procurement approach (local vs. regional) based on spend and supplier profile.
- Serve as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve procurement issues and provide guidance on purchasing procedures.
- Support enterprise initiatives such as ERP implementation and procurement tool deployment.
- Generate and analyze purchasing reports to support decision-making.
- Contribute to team projects and continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years procurement experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and Oracle systems (Oracle Fusion experience preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
