About the role
- Supply Chain Analyst at ScanSource managing inventory levels and logistics processes. Collaborating on process improvements and relationship management for suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels, material flow, and logistics processes, including continuous tracking of shipments and communicating delivery dates to customers.
- Participate in the development of action plans and improvement projects with manufacturers.
- Enter orders into the system and monitor invoicing and delivery.
- Maintain relationships with manufacturers, resellers, and sub-distributors.
- Send commercial proposals and follow opportunities through to closing.
- Control orders and monitor backlogs with suppliers.
- Prepare management reports to support decision-making.
- Work on resolving internal and external issues (customers and suppliers).
- Collaborate with purchasing, import, finance, production, and sales to enable the complete order cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience building management reports.
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and results orientation.
- Experience in sales or logistics.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related areas.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
