Responsibilities
Will report to the Corporate Coordination of OHS & SEPRO, with a specific focus on Engineering and Energy Efficiency, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements at all project stages. Activities will particularly cover topics related to Regulatory Standards (NRs), fire protection system projects, civil works and plant commissioning.
Responsible for developing and executing Occupational Safety action plans, as well as drafting and implementing programs related to the company’s activities. Will conduct technical surveys, inspections and audits, in addition to delivering training and awareness initiatives aimed at strengthening the safety culture.
In this role, will monitor operations, techniques and working methods, proposing continuous improvements and implementing preventive and corrective actions to ensure compliance with current regulations. The role will be fundamental for accident prevention and risk mitigation, ensuring the protection of people, assets and the environment, and the legal compliance of processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with postgraduate studies in Occupational Safety. Active CREA registration required. Valid driver’s license required.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the role or in related activities, with experience in operational processes. Experience in plant projects and commissioning will be considered a differential.
Solid knowledge and practical experience applying Regulatory Standards (NRs).
Knowledge of legislation applicable to Occupational Health and Safety.
Experience with fire protection system projects.
Experience with an Integrated Management System (IMS) and in drafting/managing safety procedures.
Familiarity with procedures, forms and training aimed at employees and third parties.
Experience applying risk analysis tools such as APR (Preliminary Risk Analysis), HAZOP and BowTie.
