- Responsible for a wide range of packaging solutions — from flexible primary packaging such as films and sacks through product-specific cardboard packaging to printed labels for promotions and the product range
- Optimizing interfaces between suppliers, Purchasing and Production while complying with quality management requirements
- Establishing new and maintaining existing supplier relationships
- Requesting, analyzing and negotiating quotations
- Preparing decision-relevant data with a focus on cost-performance and sustainability
- Supporting price and terms negotiations
- Drafting, processing and tracking contracts
- Monitoring and controlling deadlines and delivery schedules
- Monitoring and further developing current quality standards (cost-effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability)
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification and sound business administration knowledge
- Strong organizational talent and structured thinking
- Very good product knowledge in the packaging sector is an advantage
- Confident and professional manner
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and a constructive approach to feedback
- Team player and highly reliable
