Responsibilities
Configure and troubleshoot complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, including static routing, OSPF, and BGP
Optimize broadcast and IT traffic using VLANs, QoS, and ACLs, while implementing port security
Design and deploy redundancy and failover strategies with technologies such as Spanning Tree, VRRP, and MLAG
Deploy and maintain multicast routing using IGMP snooping, queriers, and PIM (sparse and dense modes)
Implement and troubleshoot professional broadcast protocols such as AES67, SMPTE ST 2110, and SMPTE 2022-7
Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and access policies
Deploy, configure, and maintain Riedel Artist intercom systems and MediorNet, integrating them with broader IT and broadcast networks
Requirements
Strong understanding of unicast and multicast routing, QoS, network redundancy, and handling of real-time traffic
Hands-on experience with multicast troubleshooting tools (e.g., IGMP monitoring, Wireshark)
Knowledge of broadcast workflows and integration points between production and IT networks
Ability to document and diagram complex broadcast network topologies
At least 3 years of experience in broadcast IT networking or a related field
Vendor certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or Aruba Certified
Experience in live broadcast or production network environments is a strong plus
