Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate corporate contracts, such as service agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), lease agreements, partnership and sponsorship agreements, software licensing agreements, and others;
Manage the company's standard contract templates and clauses, identify risks and propose solutions that protect the company's interests;
Ensure legal alignment and contractual compliance with applicable laws, such as the Civil Code and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law);
Manage and prepare powers of attorney, ensuring their validity and suitability for corporate needs;
Provide legal support related to the protection and management of intellectual property assets, such as trademarks, patents, copyrights and trade secrets;
Monitor trademark and patent filings and proceedings with the competent authorities (e.g., INPI 6 National Institute of Industrial Property);
Draft extrajudicial notices and responses related to intellectual property and other matters;
Support internal teams in understanding contractual provisions and intellectual property issues;
Monitor legislative changes that may affect contracts and intellectual property registrations;
Support strategic initiatives to automate and improve contract and asset management processes;
Manage the contract management system (Netlex).
Requirements
Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent);
Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
Solid experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts;
Knowledge of intellectual property law (trademarks, patents, copyrights, etc.);
Familiarity with managing and issuing powers of attorney;
Analytical skills, clear communication and strong negotiation abilities;
Previous experience in technology companies;
Strong background in automation and artificial intelligence (AI);
Advanced English.
