About the role
- Legal Counsel providing legal advice on U.S. employment law and compliance at Aritzia. Responsible for drafting contracts, managing disputes, and advising on benefits plans.
Responsibilities
- Draft, update, and implement employment contract terms across the business.
- Mitigate employee relations risk and support investigations of employee conduct.
- Draft, update and implement contractor and related vendor agreements.
- Advise on the compliance and implementation of benefits plans.
Requirements
- Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in employment law in the U.S. and, in particular, New York and California.
- Law degree from a recognized university
- License to practice law in the U.S.
