About the role
- Senior Client Accountant managing day-to-day accounting functions for various clients in Ogier's Accounting Services. Seeking proactive individual with strong analytical skills and client-facing experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities for a range of Ogier Global clients
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors
- Review work of bookkeepers and produce annual financial statements and management accounts
- Support audit preparation and assist with management of audits
- Monitor and track financial information preparation
- Prepare routine month end and quarter end management accounts
- Identify opportunities for improvements in processes and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Support, mentor, and guide junior team members
- Take on additional responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Proactive approach
- Proven experience in client accounting or accounts preparation
- Client-facing experience required
- Knowledge of Real Estate, Private Wealth, or Corporate accounting environments advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong communication, time management, and prioritisation skills
