Sales Development Consultant at OCLC identifying and qualifying new business with member libraries through sales and marketing outreach. Collaborating with technical teams to deliver solutions for libraries.
Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify leads via phone and email (45–55 calls/day)
Log and manage leads, activities, and pipeline in Salesforce and coordinate with regional sales teams
Apply product/technical knowledge to demonstrate value and answer technical questions for 10–15 unique product solutions
Use consultative selling and active listening to uncover customer needs and map solutions
Document key conversations with prospects in Salesforce and manage a queue of new and follow-up calls
Manage a pipeline of 150+ early-stage opportunities and pass 10+ fully qualified leads to the Americas sales team each month
Produce and maintain accurate reports and metrics to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals
Support sales administration and campaign execution
Requirements
2+ years’ experience working with clients and prospects on telephone
Proven ability to learn and clearly explain technical product features and benefits
Strong active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs and business problems
Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel; Access a plus)
Familiarity with library technology and products a plus; prior experience with SaaS or technical products preferred
Bachelor’s degree (business preferred)
