About the role
- SOC Administrator supporting daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC). Coordinating shifts, analyzing security incidents, and ensuring efficient SOC operations.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain SOC shift schedules
- Ensure proper 24/7 coverage and staffing
- Handle shift swaps, availability, and on-call coordination
- Monitor workload distribution across analysts
- Analyze security incidents and alert trends
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly SOC reports
- Track key metrics (SLAs, MTTR, alert volumes, false positives)
- Build dashboards for operational visibility
- Maintain SOC documentation and procedures
- Improve SOC workflows and automation opportunities
- Coordinate with incident response and threat intelligence teams
- Identify operational bottlenecks
- Recommend improvements in scheduling and reporting
- Support maturity initiatives (KPIs, SOC optimization)
Requirements
- BSc with minimum IT background knowledge
- Ability to analyze operational data and generate insights
- Workforce Management experience will be considered a plus
- Strong coordination and scheduling skills
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with reporting tools and dashboards
- Clear communication and structured thinking
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Familiarity with Power BI will be considered a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Greek language
