Network Administrator supporting Nth Degree and Fern's IT infrastructure and Azure environments. Responsible for maintaining network communications and implementing technology solutions in a corporate setting.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Nth Degree and Fern’s information systems network infrastructure
Help build and support Azure environment, critical applications, and network communications
Identifying and implementing technology solutions as related to strategic plan
Report directly to the Director of Infrastructure
Monitor software/firmware updates and service packs to ensure all systems stay up to date and secure
Provide technical assistance and support to staff, outside vendors, and third-party consultants
Daily use of network monitoring and vulnerability scanning tools
Document and record all system/hardware changes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
A Fortigate NSE, Cisco CCNA, AZ-700, AZ-104, AZ-305 is preferred, or similar skillset and ability to acquire one or more of these certifications within a year of employment.
In depth understanding of critical networking skills including DNS, Split Horizon, WAN, VPN Tunneling.
ITIL-4 Practitioner preferred, or at least a solid understanding of ITIL Processes.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Network Administration, Windows Engineer and/or MCSE roles (supporting Active Directory forests (DNS, DHCP, Group Policies).
An understanding of virtualized servers using VMWare or Hyper-V and their networking.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure Management, Intune, Autopilot, etc is a plus.
Working knowledge of Fortigate CLI is required.
Azure PowerShell and GraphAPI knowledge is a plus.
