About the role

• Techlead & Solution Architect leading web development projects using Craft CMS. Responsible for architecture, quality assurance, and coaching the Dev team in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• In this key role you take technical ownership of projects—from architecture to quality assurance—and lead a development team.
• In close collaboration with project managers you develop concepts and decision-making frameworks that guide both clients and our teams safely through projects.
• You coach and mentor developers, introduce best practices, and enforce standards.
• You evaluate new technologies and ensure our solutions remain future-proof.
• You maintain a balance between hands-on coding and strategic oversight.
• You translate complex requirements into smart, usable products.

Requirements

• You are an experienced web solutions architect—preferably with Craft CMS experience or another solid foundation; what matters is that you understand the mechanics behind it.
• Strong with frontend frameworks, preferably Vue.js—and you know which tool is appropriate for which task.
• Extensive experience designing system architectures and integrations (APIs, e-commerce systems such as Shopware, headless CMS) and working with cloud environments.
• You think in terms of solutions, not just code: scalability, security, and sustainability are not buzzwords but daily practice for you.
• You enjoy leading teams technically, sharing knowledge, and setting high standards together.
• Positive mindset with a sense of humor—professional, but never stodgy.
• Ideally a degree from a university of applied sciences (FH/HF) or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent German (English is a plus).
