Field Engineer Level 2/3 joining Northrop Grumman for overseas deployments. Involved in complex system installations and operations, requiring technical expertise and collaboration with diverse teams.
Responsibilities
Be part of The Triton Ground Segment Integrated Product Team (IPT) overseas.
Perform hands on technical tasks during ground system installation and integration activities.
Support initial deployment, operations and maintenance of a complex airborne and terrestrial tactical communication system.
Work closely with several diverse Integrated Product Teams.
Serve as the technical Support onsite during physical installs of ground segment systems.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree and 2 years experience; an additional 4 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with the repair, configuration, troubleshooting and operations of network devices and computer systems (Windows and Linux Operating Systems Certifications).
Comp TIA Security+ and A+ Certifications (experience in lieu of A+ cert is acceptable), or ability to obtain within 3 months.
U.S. Citizenship and active/current U.S. Government Top Secret clearance are required.
Willingness and ability to successfully complete GSEG SME required training in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), CA with some travel to other US locations such as Baltimore, MD and Jacksonville, FL.
