Responsibilities
Provides technical supervision and support to customers on-site, including maintenance, assembly/installation, commissioning, and start-up of mining equipment such as thickeners, filters, flotation cells, kilns, or related machines.
Identifies and supervises the resolution of complex technical issues related to the maintenance, assembly, installation, commissioning, and start-up of equipment.
Researches, evaluates, and recommends products, parts, upgrades, and services that meet customer needs.
Prepares technical and field reports/documents.
Prepares field administrative reports/documents.
Builds and maintains ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business.
Provides customer training on equipment features and maintenance.
Provides technical support to internal departments as needed.
Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including consideration for others affected by the company’s operations.
May be responsible for managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision and coaching, and delegating and reviewing the work of junior employees.
Requirements
Technical experience in maintenance, assembly, installation, and commissioning of mining equipment such as thickeners, filters, flotation cells, or related machines.
Advanced/fluent English is desirable (not mandatory).
Knowledge of Spanish is desirable (not mandatory).
Availability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Engineering degree preferred (not mandatory).
Good knowledge of Microsoft tools (Office, Outlook, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Team player with a strong work ethic and integrity.
Preferably experience working with international colleagues.
Must reside in the North region of Brazil.
