About the role
- System Administrator taking care of IT systems installation and management at a hybrid location. Engaging in problem analysis, incident management, and system optimization with creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and administer our hardware and software
- Maintain and extend security systems
- Perform problem analysis and handle incident management tasks
- Automate processes using Ansible
- Maintain databases, plan and manage backups
- Keep our systems up to date and continuously improve them
- Take DNS, cloud and mail systems to the next level
- Conduct technical analyses using our logging systems
- Monitor and control network traffic (e.g., HTTP requests)
- Cover on-call duty approximately one week per month
Requirements
- Completed technical qualification (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, etc.) and experience with Linux and Windows systems
- Strong familiarity with networking technologies and protocols; server hardware is not new to you
- Basic understanding of IT security
- Highly creative and resourceful in developing solutions
- You excel at working independently and collaborating effectively in a team
- Basic coding experience
