About the role

Responsibilities
- You take on the development and further enhancement of high-quality web applications
- You help maintain and support our in-house tools and libraries as well as the relevant third-party tools
- You write clean, readable, and well-tested code
- Through pair programming and code reviews you challenge your colleagues and take responsibility for their code and for targeted technical development
- You have the freedom to make design and architecture decisions and oversee them during implementation
- You like to automate recurring tasks using appropriate tools and scripting
- You are a technical point of contact for cross-departmental colleagues and for our clients
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the digital sector, ideally in a senior, lead, or similar role at an agency or software company
- Familiar with PHP, Node.js, NEXT.js and React; comfortable working with HTML/CSS
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong quality awareness and great attention to detail in code and applications
- Confident with GIT (GitHub), VS Code and package managers such as NPM
- Confident demeanor and excellent communication skills — engaging, inspiring, persuasive, motivating, and able to drive change
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Solid knowledge of modern web technologies and frameworks
