Responsibilities
- Learn and develop an understanding of vulnerability scanning tools and cloud security posture management tools.
- Assist in analyzing and prioritizing security vulnerabilities identified within Nasdaq Verafin's cloud infrastructure and help coordinate remediation efforts.
- Assist in analyzing and remediating Cloud Security Posture Management findings.
- Work with security and operational teams across the organization to ensure security standards are met.
- Assess and improve security processes and tool usage to strengthen overall security posture.
- Develop technical and professional skills through hands-on work, training, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Students currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Security Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Eager to develop skills in threat and vulnerability management, container security, and logging/monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively across teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and developing security best practices.
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with vulnerability scanners, container security tools, or monitoring platforms. Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, GSEC, or equivalent. Internship or project experience related to cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure.
