About the role
- CAM Analyst II responsible for monitoring foreclosure mediation, contested, and litigation processes at M&T Bank. Ensuring compliance with state, banking, and investor guidelines while managing escalated issues and providing expertise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor progress of foreclosures through queues and reporting
- Work with foreclosure attorney, outside counsel and/or in-house counsel to resolve disputes
- Serve as an escalation contact for associates, attorneys, and other departments
- Research, validate and update loans on foreclosure exception reports
- Provide approval of additional attorney fees
- Conduct regular coaching with team
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory and investor guidelines
- Work with management to revise and implement procedure changes
- Gather departmental information for presentations
Requirements
- Associate degree and a minimum of 3 years’ related experience, or a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ related experience
- Experience in collections and/or default servicing
- Proven analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent word processing and spreadsheet software
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
