Junior Consultant in Workforce & Organization Transformation at Mercer, helping clients enhance workforce performance and engagement through strategic initiatives and solutions.
Responsibilities
Drive organizational design initiatives that incorporate change management, cultural transformation and leadership development to ensure sustainable impact
Collaborate with Clients and conduct comprehensive assessments of their current workforce and organizational structures, processes, and practices
Analyze data and develop insights to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, developing expertise in the transformation area: organization design, process re-engineering, analytics and technology trends
Contribute to large complex client projects sale and execute project delivery in line with strategic direction from the project manager
Contribute to implementing tailored solutions that align with clients' strategic goals and addressing their specific workforce and organizational needs
Facilitate client meetings (e.g. workshops, focus groups, and other collaborative sessions) and act as a trusted advisor to clients
Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and other deliverables to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to clients
Take part in designing new and innovative solutions, processes and projects in Workforce & Organization Transformation and data driven Organization design
Balance multiple project schedules to meet deadlines
Implementing strategic workforce planning best practice that delivers value to the business
Learn and adapt Mercer standard tools and methodologies and work closely with other Mercer practices in the HR consulting space
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in workforce and organization transformation, and share knowledge and insights with clients and colleagues.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Economics, Organization, Management Engineering or similar
At least 2 years of professional experience in consulting firms or companies with a focus on workforce and organization transformation, organizational development or a related field
Strong organizational and communication skills to support senior colleagues in the design, implementation and coordination of development projects
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
A strong interest, passion and curiosity for design processes and change management dynamics
Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Power point, Excel, Power BI) and knowledge of statistical tools
Italian and English proficiency.
