About the role
- IT Consultant responsible for project management and consulting roles, focused on digitalization projects for public administration. Based in Germany with opportunities for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Planning and managing digitalization projects for county, city and municipal administrations together with your project team
- Analyzing and optimizing processes related to our financial software and the adjacent specialist departments
- Training and onboarding users in new projects and for existing clients
- Project control including cost monitoring, resource planning, risk management, stakeholder management
- Ensuring project success in time, in budget and in scope
- Supporting sales with offer calculations and scoping as well as the further development of our customers
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or university degree, e.g., in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in project management and experience leading project teams of 2–10 people on multi-month projects
- Willingness to travel regionally in northern and eastern Germany (approx. 1 day/week)
- Desirable: Basic knowledge of accounting and experience in the municipal sector
- Strong communication skills, commercial thinking, proactive working style
- Very good German language skills (at least C1)
