Responsibilities
- Manage environmental compliance programs for 40+ US facilities
- Focus on air permitting, environmental noise, refrigerant management, spill prevention, chemical inventory reporting, waste management
- Oversee environmental consultants responsible for project execution
- Offer technical and regulatory guidance and training
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies
- Oversee environmental due diligence assessments in support of financial transactions
- Track findings and coordinate follow-up actions as needed
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans
- Monitor environmental regulations relevant to the data center industry
- Support the development of strategies for compliance with new requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years working in environmental compliance
- Specialized knowledge of Federal-level environmental requirements related to Clean Air Act, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and refrigerant management
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate environmental regulatory requirements outlined in state and local regulations and site-specific environmental permits
- Experience with environmental due diligence assessments
- Strong technical writing skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
