About the role
- Senior Project Manager overseeing complex IT projects, acting as a central liaison to clients and leading project teams. Focused on structured planning, risk management, and quality assurance throughout all project phases.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for complex IT projects from the definition phase through to successful project delivery
- Serve as the central point of contact for clients, provide consultative partnership, and build sustainable client relationships
- Lead project teams organized in traditional, agile, or hybrid setups
- Initiate, plan and manage demanding consulting and software development projects
- Carry out structured project planning and execution across all project phases
- Implement continuous progress monitoring, effective risk management, and quality assurance
- Support proposal processes with professional and technical expertise
Requirements
- Degree in (Business) Informatics/Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent qualification
- Solid experience in traditional, agile or hybrid project management
- Several years of experience in (multi-)project management, ideally within an IT services company
- Knowledge of traditional project management methodologies
- Experience in project initiation, planning, control, risk and quality management
- Leadership experience managing larger project teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good German and good English language skills
- Certification in traditional project management methods (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI or IPMA)
- Additional certifications in agile methodologies are a plus
