About the role
- Payroll Officer ensuring accurate payroll processing across multiple entities for Total Tools group. Collaborating with store managers to support payroll queries and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly and fortnightly payroll across multiple entities using Tanda and Pronto
- Interpret awards, agreements, and contracts to ensure accurate pay conditions
- Maintain employee records and process payroll adjustments including leave, overtime, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, ATO, superannuation, and payroll tax requirements
- Support store managers and employees with payroll queries and guidance
- Contribute to audits, reporting, and improvements in payroll processes and documentation
Requirements
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing (multi-site or retail advantageous)
- Proficiency with payroll systems, ideally Tanda and Pronto
- Strong understanding of modern awards, enterprise agreements, and compliance requirements
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills when supporting stakeholders
- A proactive, organised team player who identifies improvements and manages competing priorities effectively
