Responsibilities
- Craft and deliver a People & Culture strategy aligned with transformation goals, leading us into the future
- Drive business-wide change, including operating model reviews and integration projects
- Lead and deliver the people integration of our newly merged businesses
- Be the thought leader and strategist on workforce & talent strategy, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness
- Build future leaders and develop our pipeline of great talent using Metcash’s Talent Management approach
- Be the architect and champion of cultural transformation that embeds purpose and values
- Elevate leadership capability and learning across the business
- Ensure smooth delivery of critical P&C services through direct and shared teams, working in strong collaboration with our broader P&C services teams
Requirements
- Extensive experience in senior People & Culture leadership roles, ideally within FMCG, retail, hardware, or large-scale operations, and within a matrix and shared services environment
- Proven success in strategic P&C partnering and leading significant change
- Expertise in organisational development, workforce strategy, and cultural transformation
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a matrix structure and balancing competing priorities
- Thrive in fast-moving environments and embrace ambiguity with confidence
