- Help design and operate the company network infrastructures
- Monitor the operational status of servers and automated IT processes
- Serve on rotation as the first point of contact for all user requests
- Provision users with required devices, applications and permissions
- Maintain Windows and Linux systems
- Work across all support levels (First, Second, Third line)
- Assume on-call responsibilities
- Communicate with users, vendors and service providers
- Gradually take ownership of a portion of the deployed IT systems
Requirements
- A completed degree with a focus on computer science or a related field
- Solid and broad professional knowledge of servers and networking
- Several years of experience operating IT systems
- In-depth expertise in networking, Linux and virtualization
- Programming skills, ideally in multiple languages
- Team player mentality, commitment and strong communication skills
- Willingness to manage IT systems in all aspects (from planning to deployment)
- Good written and spoken German and English
- Valid driver's license
