Responsibilities
Co-design and operate the company’s network infrastructures
Monitor the functionality of servers and automated IT processes
Act as the first point of contact for user requests on a rotating basis
Set up users with all required devices, applications and permissions
Maintain Windows and Linux systems
Work across all support levels (First, Second, Third)
Participate in on-call rotation
Communicate with users, vendors and service providers
Gradually assume responsibility for a portion of the deployed IT systems
Requirements
University degree with a focus on computer science
Solid and broad professional knowledge (servers and networks)
Several years of professional experience operating IT systems
In-depth knowledge in the core areas of networking, Linux and virtualization
Programming skills, preferably in multiple languages
Team spirit, commitment and strong communication skills
Willingness to support IT systems in all aspects (from planning to deployment)
Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Valid driver’s license
