Technical Project Manager leading cross-functional development projects in the Critical Power Solutions Division at MEPPI. Plan, execute, and deliver projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Drive Project Success: Apply project management expertise to plan, organize, and execute projects from definition through completion, meeting scope, schedule, risk, and budget objectives.
Foster Collaboration: Lead cross-functional development teams to ensure timely completion of assigned project milestones and deliverables.
Manage Project Schedules: Develop and maintain project schedules using WBS and scheduling tools while monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Provide Clear Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and status updates to management and stakeholders.
Mitigate Risks Proactively: Identify and manage project risks, trade-offs, and resource constraints to ensure successful outcomes, and escalate critical risks to stakeholders when necessary.
Enable Effective Decision-Making: Facilitate effective decision-making within the team to resolve technical and schedule challenges promptly.
Promote a Positive Organizational Image: Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Division through effective dealings with customers and other internal departments and divisions.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical project management.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with significant technical and budgetary impact.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, WBS, Risk Analysis, FMEA).
Ability to work in multicultural environments with emphasis on Italian and Japanese cultures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including formal presentation capabilities.
Experience with Stage-Gate or similar product development processes.
