About the role
- Quality Assurance Coordinator supporting Supply Chain Logistics in contact lens production. Ensuring quality standards compliance and managing quality documentation in the European Distribution Center.
Responsibilities
- You will support the Quality Manager at a supply-chain logistics facility in the contact lens industry and ensure that our quality standards are met.
- Perform and document QM/quality assurance measures
- Handle complaint management and process customer complaints
- Create procedures and work instructions
- Organize and accompany internal and external audits
- Assist with data maintenance and the re‑validation of the eQMS (ConSense)
- Inspect final controls during the process and document inspection results
- Record and prepare analyses of rework
- Capture and evaluate process disruptions and follow up on corrective actions
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a comparable degree
- At least 2 years of professional experience in quality management, ideally with hands‑on quality assurance experience
- Analytical and process‑oriented thinking, with a high level of reliability and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the logistics sector or experience with logistics processes
- Confident user of MS Office; experience with MS Dynamics and e‑QMS scripting skills are an advantage
- Fluent German and business‑fluent English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to assert oneself
- Strong service mindset and customer‑oriented approach
