About the role
- Finance Manager overseeing Service & Repair operations for Eurasia region at Medtronic. Partnering with leadership to drive financial performance and strategic decision making.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the finance partner to the Eurasia Service & Repair sales leader, providing insights into revenue, margins, service contracts, cost‑to‑serve, and productivity
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management, including service revenue, backlog, gross margin, operating expenses, and key KPIs
- Prepare and deliver executive‑level presentations for monthly operating reviews, quarterly business reviews, and ad‑hoc leadership updates
- Conduct deep‑dive financial analyses on service pricing, contract mix, utilization, warranty exposure, field costs, and investment trade‑offs
- Support the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and long‑range planning, ensuring alignment with global priorities and financial objectives
- Monitor performance versus plan, proactively identifying risks, trends, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with financial governance, internal controls, and reporting standards across regions
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools
- Lead cross‑functional projects and initiatives, ensuring delivery in line with organizational standards
Requirements
- Strong mastery of financial analysis and modeling, with deep understanding of best practices
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to independently manage complex projects or processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving processes or systems
- Strong communication and influencing skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching, mentoring, or guiding others
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Background in business performance analysis or commercial finance
- Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Comfort working in ambiguous, matrixed environments
