About the role

  • Bilingual Data Specialist managing administrative tasks and data loading for group insurance. Collaborating with stakeholders while ensuring timely and accurate systems operations in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and perform various administrative tasks independently.
  • Ensure tasks are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Validate changes and keep systems running smoothly (reporting, data, evaluations).
  • Update data in internal systems, including peer reviews.
  • Document and update administrative procedures and client requirements.
  • Suggest process enhancements and support automation of work methods.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients by providing professional service and communicating clearly.
  • Respond to client requests, follow up as required, and meet established timelines.
  • Identify gaps in quality and efficiency.
  • Create client-focused, tested and proven solutions.
  • Promote a continuous improvement approach.

Requirements

  • College diploma, university degree or relevant experience in requirements analysis.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of group insurance plan administration and ability to learn new systems.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and Office Suite and ability to manipulate and organize data.
  • Knowledge of VBA/SQL interfaces and languages is an asset.
  • Expert ability to assemble, analyze and evaluate data of medium to high complexity.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent skills in customer approach.
  • Ability to organize work and information methodically to execute critical tasks in compliance with deadlines.
  • Must be fluently bilingual in both written and spoken English and French.
