About the role

• Senior Project Manager planning and overseeing creative live experiences for national and international clients at MCI Deutschland. Involves project management activities from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Event Manager / Project Manager (m/f/d) based in Berlin, you plan and manage creative live experiences for national and international clients — from intimate, high-end events to large-scale productions.
• Implementation lead: You take the lead in turning creative event concepts into reality, delivering unique events and ensuring satisfied clients.
• Trusted advisor: You build and nurture client relationships within your projects, provide tailored guidance, and lead project meetings.
• Organizational talent: You coordinate and manage all service providers involved in your events and plan the resources for your project teams.
• Commercial mindset: You prepare new proposals, monitor budgets and close out projects — including reporting and documentation.
• Idea driver: You continuously develop our live, online and hybrid formats and contribute to cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

• Completed commercial/business training or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches, budgeting and leading small teams
• Confident in German and English (spoken and written)
• Proficient with common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Team-oriented with a structured working style; strong advisory, negotiation and problem-solving skills; and business-minded thinking
• Willingness to travel (approx. 15% of the role)
