About the role
- Head of Accounting and Reporting at international company overseeing global financial reporting. Leading a team and enhancing finance structures while ensuring compliance and financial accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the group's global accounting
- Lead an international accounting team
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Further development of global finance structures in collaboration with the CFO
- Responsible for compliance matters, internal controls and accounting policies
- Interface with auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders worldwide
- Responsible for liquidity planning, financing matters and currency risk management
- Harmonization and optimization of processes, systems and structures within the international finance environment
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in international accounting, ideally in an industrial/manufacturing company
- Solid knowledge of HGB (German GAAP)
- Leadership experience and team development skills
- Strong process understanding and a structured way of working
- Strong affinity for digital tools and ERP systems
- Knowledge of SAP and LucaNet is an advantage
- Very good English skills
