Responsibilities
- Product feasibility and Process Flow analysis and study for vehicle assembly
- Simulation through Delmia / Tools configuration finalization
- Assembly process planning of Trims, chassis and final assembly in digital manufacturing
- Assembly fixture design, designing small tools using concept knowledge and sequence
- Integrating respective functional area (Vehicle Assembly) for a project
- Implementing Global Manufacturing Strategies especially BOP and BOE
- Providing functional area deliverables including respective Manufacturing process
- Identification and resolution of issues
- Ensuring implementation of Process Driven Product Designs (Manufacturing Requirements) and manufacturable parts
- Preparing the manufacturing Strategy for the New product development
- Basic budgeting based on Product assumptions and Process Synergies
- Understanding of the New Product based on PALS and PDB
- Conducting simulation studies to give a real time feedback to Designers
- Conducting Virtual builds to check the issues upfront and provide feedback to designers
- Lead role in Develop and Establish the Process planning, documentation and process sheets preparation
- Ensuring the Digitization and Standardization of all the Project Activities
- Developing Line and lineside Logistics layout
