Junior Project Manager driving product development for a leading sexual wellbeing company. Collaborating with teams in engineering and marketing to deliver innovative pleasure products.
Responsibilities
Plan and lead end-to-end product development processes, including project planning, team meeting organization, milestone definition, and on-time delivery.
Manage high-complexity physical products, with a strong focus on multi-item sex toy kits and seasonal products such as advent calendars, involving multiple SKUs, components, suppliers, and packaging configurations.
Coordinate and track dependencies across numerous products within a single project, ensuring consistency, quality, and readiness for launch.
Report on KPIs such as project status, cost, timelines, and resource allocation to provide operational transparency and business impact insights.
Participate in defining customer and product requirements, identifying new product solutions, and assessing feasibility, risks, and business impact.
Support decision-making processes for product group selection and prioritisation, aligning with the company’s overall product and category strategy.
Collaborate closely with China-based manufacturers and suppliers, managing timelines, samples, approvals, and production readiness across different time zones.
Act as a key interface between internal teams and external partners in China, ensuring clear communication, structured follow-ups, and alignment on expectations.
Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality product launches that meet regulatory, commercial, and brand requirements.
Requirements
A strong passion for physical product development and a good understanding of the full product life cycle, from concept to mass production.
A degree in economics, business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
Proven coordination skills, ideally across international and interdisciplinary teams, with confidence working across different cultures and time zones.
High attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex projects involving many parallel workstreams.
Excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with project management tools is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; experience working with Chinese suppliers or manufacturing partners is highly desirable.
A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable operating in a fast-paced product environment.
