About the role
- Data Analyst enhancing operational efficiency and driving insights at Localiza&Co through data analysis and quality processes. Engaging in a data-driven culture to make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Design, maintain, and evolve dashboards and analytical models in Power BI.
- Build statistical and predictive models (e.g., forecasting, regressions, time series).
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance for the data used by teams.
- Create automation routines and integrations between data sources (Excel, SQL, APIs, etc.).
- Perform diagnostics, identify efficiency opportunities, and propose process improvements.
- Support partner areas with analyses, metrics, and results-oriented storytelling.
- Serve as a technical reference and mentor mid-level/junior analysts when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis and supporting decision-making.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Proficient in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, workspace governance).
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ETL tools (Power Query, Python, or similar).
- Experience with statistical models or machine learning (e.g., regressions, SARIMAX, clustering).
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Analytical mindset, results-oriented, and strong executive communication skills.
- Nice to have: experience in operations, logistics, automotive services, or retail; knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma); experience automating processes with Python; experience with KPI governance and performance routines.
