IT Assurance Manager for Group Finance Risk overseeing SOX compliance and controls. Engaging in internal and external change management while coaching team members.
Responsibilities
Play a key role in delivering the Group’s IT SOX assurance programme
Perform IT controls assurance, leading on specific control areas and business units
Build and share understanding of the end-to-end SOX IT landscape
Challenge existing approaches and build on the quality of our assurance processes; identifying, recommending, and delivering on areas for improvement, including through the use of technology; to deliver effective and efficient risk-based assurance
Support & coach less experienced team members
Share challenge and insight with partners across the Group, acting as a trusted advisor on areas of expertise
Support Senior Managers on project management and delivery
Actively participate in supporting our agenda on purpose, priorities, people and engagement
Requirements
Ability to demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of IT related risks and control
Experience in delivery of insight, challenge and advice whilst building collaborative relationships across the Group
Strong analytical skills to understand and analyse different sources of data and complex information, effectively problem solving and making control assessments
Ability to challenge risk and control owners on the end-to-end management of risk within a Finance landscape
Strong project management skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to work with people at all levels to meet shared objectives
Any experience in these areas would be really useful: IT SOX experience required
Qualification in a related field (audit, risk management, accounting)
Using technology enabled solutions to improve quality and efficiency of controls testing or other day to day activities
Demonstrable experience in control and/or testing automation, including data analytics and programming languages (e.g. VBA, SQL or Python)
Knowledge of SOX regulations, PCAOB requirements and SOC reporting
