About the role
- IT Project Manager supporting the expansion of an enterprise Project Portfolio Management tool with oversight on agile management processes. Collaborating with teams to guide and deliver successful implementations.
Responsibilities
- Support the expansion of an enterprise Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool by leading the definition, delivery, and adoption of portfolio, program, and agile management processes.
- Guide proof-of-concepts through enterprise rollout.
- Enable decentralized PMOs to successfully replicate and sustain PPM processes.
- Collaborate with the PPM tool development team throughout the SDLC.
- Lead and support proof-of-concepts, pilots, and enterprise rollouts of new PPM modules and capabilities.
- Develop and deliver role-based training materials to maximize effective use of the PPM tool.
- Contribute to ongoing governance activities by supporting committees that assess, approve, and prioritize PPM tool enhancements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT project management supporting large or complex initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience in program, portfolio, and/or agile project management environments.
- Demonstrated experience with software testing, end-user training, and development of user guides and documentation.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- PMP, PgMP, PfMP, Scrum, SAFe, or ITIL certification (preferred).
- Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) (preferred).
- Experience working with the ServiceNow platform (preferred).
