About the role

• Analyst protecting Lifepoint Health's digital assets and infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and compliance support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Conduct threat analysis and vulnerability assessments.
• Investigate and document security breaches and incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices.
• Maintain and update security tools, including Email Security Gateway, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and SSPM.
• Assist in audits and compliance efforts related to HIPAA, HITRUST, and other frameworks.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (CIS, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST).
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Google Chronicle, Splunk).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) preferred.
