About the role

  • Communications Specialist handling content creation and editorial management for corporate communications with a focus on internal and external channels.

Responsibilities

  • Editing & content creation (cross-channel)
  • Research, conceptualization and writing of journalistic articles for internal and external channels (including website/online, newsletters, publications, customer and employee communications)
  • Preparing topics in various formats: feature articles, short formats, Q&As, teasers, social snippets (corporate)
  • Quality assurance: language, structure, tone and consistency – from the initial idea to final publication
  • Collaboration with internal departments as well as external authors/service providers (briefing, coordination, quality control)
  • Working in the newsroom
  • Contributing to topic and channel planning (editorial calendar), prioritization and execution of communication packages
  • Taking on a newsroom role according to your strengths and preferences (e.g. editor, content producer, channel or topic lead)
  • Coordination of reviews and approvals in a regulated environment (including relevant interfaces)
  • Communication support for strategic projects and initiatives (internal/external), including communication plans, core messages and implementation modules
  • Developing communication materials such as Q&As, text modules and factsheets, and ensuring secure implementation with various stakeholders
  • Press relations (support)

Requirements

  • Journalistic training (e.g. MAZ, Ringier School of Journalism) or a university degree in communications/economics/marketing – in each case with solid editorial experience
  • Several years of experience in corporate communications/content within the financial services sector or a similarly regulated environment
  • Very strong editorial skills: clear, precise, structured – also for complex topics and tight deadlines
  • Experience with digital channels and publishing; ideally knowledge of SEO/UX writing and editorial workflows (e.g. topic planning, approvals, quality assurance)
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills in a multi-stakeholder environment; ability to steer topics confidently and implement them pragmatically
  • German at native-speaker level; very good written and spoken English
  • Working style: independent, reliable, team-oriented, high-quality standards and enjoyment of collaboration
