About the role

Responsibilities
- You support the day-to-day operations and ongoing development of the finance function in Germany.
- You contribute to budgets, forecasts, and regular financial and management reporting.
- You assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements — together with internal and external partners.
- You support the optimization of accounting processes in accordance with HGB and internal policies.
- You work in Financial Control & Cash Management — for example, in liquidity planning and monitoring.
- You contribute to the implementation and further development of our accounting systems (YOOZ, SAGE X3).
- You work closely with the Manager Finance on corporate planning, performance analyses, and data-driven decision-making.
- You support projects with auditors, tax advisors, and global finance teams.
- You actively participate in cross-functional projects and in improving our processes and structures.
Requirements
- You are an enrolled student in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
- Ideally, you have initial practical experience in accounting or controlling (e.g., from an internship or a previous working student role).
- You have a good understanding of business and finance processes.
- Basic knowledge of HGB accounting is a plus.
- You work analytically, in a structured and reliable manner, and keep an overview even when handling multiple tasks.
- You bring a strong hands-on mentality and enjoy working in a team.
- You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Confident user of MS Excel; initial experience with YOOZ or SAGE X3 is an advantage.
