About the role
- Quantitative Risk Analyst II providing critical risk management support at USAA. Developing models, assessments, and tools to aggregate and manage key financial risks.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical risk management support to a line of business or staff agency
- Identify, measure, and aggregate key risks while enabling the organization to understand and manage those risks
- Develop and execute sophisticated quantitative models, assessments, and analytical tools
- Evaluate market conditions, identify vulnerabilities, and uncover gaps in existing or proposed processes
- Monitor the risk and control environment to ensure exposures remain within acceptable thresholds
- Advise stakeholders on effective risk mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or other quantitative discipline
- 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- 2 years related quantitative analysis experience in a discipline relevant to risk management to include statistical analysis, modeling, mathematics or other quantitative disciplines
- OR advanced degree/designation in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or other quantitative discipline
