About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain critical backend services for our payments charges infrastructure.
- Integrate with complex external financial APIs and banking systems to facilitate secure money transfers.

- Write clean, well-tested code to ensure the highest level of system reliability.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Finance, and other engineering teams to release features that impact thousands of happy customers and partners.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Strong programming skills, with expertise in Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Preference for top-tier universities).
- Deep understanding and proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
- Experience designing and integrating with APIs (RESTful services).
- A "quality-first" mindset: Strong understanding of testing methodologies and writing code for highly sensitive/critical systems.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable: Experience or a strong desire to incorporate AI dev tools into your daily workflow, combined with the critical thinking needed to review and validate AI-generated code.
